Dr. Stephanie Clark

(Director, North America Operations)

Stephanie (Owner of Invertebrate Identification Australia) is an invertebrate taxonomist specialising in marine and non-marine molluscs, particularly for Australia and the United States and has worked in a range of environments including both surface and subterranean aquatic, terrestrial and marine systems. She has over 25 years of experience in the identification, taxonomy and systematics of molluscs particularly the freshwater gastropod family Hydrobiidae and related families and the terrestrial gastropod family Camaenidae, which have numerous narrow range endemics. Stephanie has worked with several threatened and endangered species, including targeted surveys, conservation and population genetics, translocation and monitoring. She has worked in all states of Australia, is currently working on projects in the USA and is a recognised authority for the Hydrobiidae.
